Bill Morley is the founder of Altrius Group, LLC, a bipartisan global consulting and advocacy group based in Washington, DC. Altrius Group represents a broad array of American Fortune 500 companies and multinational organizations from all over the world that are seeking business opportunities in the U.S. and abroad.
Bill’s team at Altrius Group provides decades of experienced, bipartisan leadership and a proven track record of success in helping clients with effective strategies, strong messaging and powerful advocacy. Altrius Group works with our clients to develop integrated action plans that include media training and outreach, coalition building, grassroots education and activation, Capitol Hill door knocks and vote counting, meetings with government officials in the U.S. and abroad to help resolve disputes or concerns, and much more.
Prior to forming Altrius Group, Bill headed the Washington office of one of the nation’s fastest growing government affairs and public relations firms – MWW Group. He grew the firm’s international and IP practices and spent considerable time on advocacy, training and media outreach on behalf of clients. He helped clients in the Middle East, Asia and Latin America with sensitive issues including legislation regarding the transfer of nuclear technology, CFIUS-related investments and free trade agreements with Latin America.
Bill came to MWW from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he served for nearly 8 years as Vice President for Congressional Affairs. As chief trade lobbyist for the Chamber, he developed and helped implement strategies for passing Presidential Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with Chile, Singapore, Australia and CAFTA. He worked closely with pro-trade Democrats and Republicans in Congress to promote international engagement. He also conducted pro-trade ambassador tours across the U.S. which included meeting with editorial boards and training local trade advocates and grassroots activists.
After the 2000 elections, Bill was appointed by the White House to serve on the advisory transition team for trade and the U.S. Trade Representative’s office. He has appeared on CNN, CBS, MSNBC, CNBC, NPR, Bloomberg and other broadcast and national print media on behalf of the business community.
In addition, Bill enjoyed a successful career in public service as General Counsel and business liaison for U.S. Senator Arlen Specter (D-PA). Bill is an attorney by training and worked as a business litigator in California representing hi-tech and startup companies. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese. He is married and lives with his wife Nancy and their 4 daughters in Arlington, Virginia.
Reeve C. R. Wolford
Managing Director, Latin America
Reeve Wolford joined Altrius Group after a career in private and public service dedicated to strengthening the Latin America-U.S. relationship, bringing his experience and wide network of contacts to bear on behalf of Altrius Group’s clientele.
Reeve manages Altrius Group’s Latin America portfolio, which includes multinational corporations, associations and small and medium-sized enterprises in the United States and abroad.
With Reeve’s leadership, Altrius Group’s reach and capabilities have expanded. He has developed and helped implement effective strategies for clients interested in working with regional governments. Reeve has also created a vibrant practice focused on business development and marketing in Latin America.
He has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Latin America, conducting and facilitating seminars and training programs, organizing business missions and visits with key government and business leaders, and providing Latin America consulting services for companies and associations.
Prior to joining Altrius Group, Reeve served for eight years as Director of Marketing at the Brazil-U.S. Business Council, representing major U.S. investors in Brazil and prominent Brazilian multinationals. In his work on behalf of member companies, Reeve brought top executives together to plan and execute successful public policy strategies in on an array of issues, including tariff classifications and reductions; tax modifications; customs; infrastructure policy; and advocacy work in the Brazilian Congress. Reeve’s business outreach efforts nearly doubled the size of the Council and greatly raised its profile in Brazil.
Also while with the Council, Reeve developed considerable experience organizing trade missions, lobbying delegations and policy-focused events, including the Council’s Forum Brasil event series in Washington, DC, its Brazil Road Show (trade and investment promotion events in five U.S. cities in coordination with the Brazilian Embassy) and an annual Brazil Mission of U.S. and Brazilian executives to Brasília for meetings with the President and his economic cabinet, the Senate and Chamber of Deputies and key regulators.
A graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Reeve is fully fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. Reeve taught both languages at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has taught civics and American history in a Spanish immersion classroom. In addition, he has undertaken a variety of translation projects, in both Spanish and Portuguese, on behalf of private individuals and corporations.
